HOPE IN THE PARK
Hope in the Park is a monthly
FREE Community Dinner
and Food Assistance event
that is open to anyone.
1st Thursday of every month
(except December) from 5-7pm.
No preregistration allowed and
no documentation is needed.
Food Box Tickets are given
out while supplies last.
Free Family Fun including
a Free Inflatable and Games.
FREE ENGLISH CLASSES
3 sessions of
FREE English Classes
are held each year.
Beginner, intermediate
and Advanced Classes.
Fridays at 6:30pm

TOTES OF HOPE
Totes of Hope provides handmade Tote Bags and handmade quilts for children entering the foster care system. Partnering with Child Protective Services, children are given a Tote of Hope when they are removed from their homes in crisis situation. In addition to the Tote and handmade quilt, each Tote of Hope is filled with toiletries and other special gifts.
The Dorcas Sewing Group works on Totes of Hope every Tuesday from 9am - 12noon.
BACK 2 SCHOOL BASH
Our Annual Back 2 School Bash is held on the first Thursday of August each year from 5-7pm.
Free Backpacks with school supplies are given out while supplies last (student MUST be present). No preregistration allowed and no documentation needed. Free Food, Free Inflatable, Free Games and information on other resources is available.
COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS BLOCK PARTY
The Annual Community Christmas Block Party takes place on the first Friday in December from 6-8pm.
Free Food, Inflatable Obstacle Course, Christmas Cookies, Cocoa, Door Prizes (several $50 & $25 gift cards), Photo Ops, Games, Crafts & More!
The entire event is FREE!
Most of the event is outside (Food, Door Prizes, Cocoa, S'mores, Popcorn, Photo Ops, Inflatable and seating). Although HollyJollyVille (Christmas Cookie Lane, Frosty and Friends Crafts, Reindeer Games etc) is inside the Gym.
And it's going to SNOW!! Join us in Hope Park (just past the big tent) where it will SNOW! HollyJollyVille is located in the Gym right next to Hope Park.
Bring your camera! Lots of great opportunities to take some fun pics! Our friends, George, the Gingerbread Man and Douglas T. Fir, the Christmas Tree, will be available for pictures as well.
